Perhaps more than any time any of us can ever recall, this year, 2021, feels like the year when procrastination might just come to an end. From as soon as we are safely able to do so, we want to get out to experience as many of life’s rich possibilities as we can possibly get our hands on.
We’re thinking you probably feel exactly the same. So, now things are finally starting to feel a little bit more positive, we wanted to introduce you to some of the exciting new adventures we have coming to Adventure Parc Snowdonia later this spring.
First up, our brand-new pump track. In case you haven’t seen one before, a pump track is a circuit of rollers, banked turns and other features designed to be ridden completely by riders “pumping” their bike – creating momentum by up and down body movements. Whilst designed for pump bikes, a pump track can also be used with mountain bikes, BMX or hybrids.
Our pump track will launch with our new season in spring 2021. A 300-metre all-weather beauty, it is packed full of tabletops, rhythm sections and burms. It comes with split track racing too, so you can take on your mates, or ride in your own time.
This is an adventure the whole family can enjoy: the track comes with three distinct zones, including the main pump track, a mini pump track, and a carver skate bowl which is suitable for surf skate trainers and a great for dry-side surf training. We think you’re going to love it.
Other new activities coming for 2021 include daily fresh-water swimming sessions in the surf lagoon, which will be free for all guests staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Snowdonia. We will also be offering mountain bike hire – handy for exploring the nearby Gwydir Mawr a Bach (Marin) forest trails.
Anyone who knows Conwy Valley will know that there is plenty of fantastic walking to be done directly from Adventure Parc Snowdonia straight into the Carneddau mountains. As dog-lovers ourselves, we’re delighted to be able to offer dog-friendly glamping and hotel accommodation this year, so if you have a pet in your family, you’ll be able to enjoy some of those fantastic trails with them too.
